Charles Allen Irwin, 65, a life-long resident of Sikeston, died Sunday Oct. 2, 2016 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. He was born Jan 16, 1951 in Desoto, MO to the late David Walter "Buck" and Melba Marie (Kuhlmann) Irwin. He was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, had coached youth league sports, and retired after 27 years from the maintenance department at Sikeston Public Schools. He was first married to Maggie Sue Lathum Dec. 29, 1972 in Sikeston and she preceded him in death Feb. 5, 2007. He was then married Dec. 3, 2011 to Diane (Bryant) Bell in Sikeston and she survives of the home. Also surviving are one son, Matthew (Lindsey) Irwin of Crestwood; one daughter Bobbi Jo (Brandon) Tinnin of Sikeston; 1 step-son, Michael Bell and 1 step-daughter, Sheila Bell both of Sikeston; 5 brothers, David W. (Deborah) Irwin of Springfield, Edward L. (Josephina) Irwin of Virginia Beach, VA., Michael L. (Cathy) Irwin of Norman, OK, Harry J. (Cheryl) Irwin of Sikeston and Dennis R. Irwin of Sikeston; 1 sister, Barbara (Kenneth) Johnson of Hollywood, Maryland. Three grandchildren, Liam Irwin, Kyle Brown and Brody Carter also survive. Visitation will be at Blanchard Funeral Chapel Wednesday Oct. 5 from 5 until 8 pm. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am Thursday, Oct. 6, at Concordia Lutheran Church with Rev. A. J. Wollenburg, the pastor officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers wlll be Bob McCord, Jiggs Moore, Jim Wilkening, Chester Kordahl, Erich Mueller and Bud Werner.
