CHARLES LEE MAXWELL, age 56, of East Prairie, died November 5, 2018, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born November 11, 1961, at Wichita, KS, to the late Charles T. Maxwell and Gloria Ashley Maxwell, he had lived in Wichita, KS a number of years before moving to Southeast Missouri.
He had been employed as a truck driver and then later as a school bus driver for the Head Start Program at East Prairie and then with T&S Farms at Charleston.

On August 21, 1981, he married Karen Ann Murdaugh, who preceded him in death July 21, 2001.

Surviving are one step daughter, Kelli Stoner; special friends, Ricky Bell and Valery Bell of Charleston; his sister, Sissy. Three step grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Diane.

Combined committal services for he and his wife Karen will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 10, 2019, at the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.

Interment will follow under direction of McMikle Funeral Home.
