CHARLES McCOLLOM, age 72, died Friday, March 26, 2010 at his home in Sikeston.

Born September 25, 1937, at Charleston, MO, to the late Herbert Cletus and Lorene McKinney McCollom, he had lived in Sikeston a number of years and was employed as a welder with the Associated Electric in New Madrid until his retirement. He was of Baptist Belief.

On August 29, 1955, he married Lola Mae Pemberton who preceded him in death on May 2, 2008.

Surviving are: one son, Charles McCollom, Jr., of Sikeston; three daughters, Vicki Jacobs, Teresa Greene and Monica Jordan all of Sikeston; seven brothers, David McCollom of Mountain Home, AR; Jim McCollom of Troy, IN; Jerry McCollom of Rockford, IL; Tom McCollom of Mendota, IL; Mike McCollom of Rockford, IL; Fred McCollom of Rochelle, IL and John McCollom of Dixon, IL; one sister, Mildred Mumford of Mt. Morris, IL; a special nephew, Jason McCollom, a special aunt, Ruby Butler; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, March 29, 2010 at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston where funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 30, 2010. Ray Parker of Charleston, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be his seven brothers.
