Charles "Chuck" David Moore, 70, of East Prairie, departed this world on Thursday, November 11, 2021, surrounded by his loved ones.

Chuck was born July 10, 1951 in Springfield, Ohio to the late William Moore and Mary West.  Chuck served in the United States Marine Corp and was a lifelong member of the American Legion and VFW.  He worked as an over-the-road truck driver for many years. After his retirement he mostly enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by two sisters Tammy (Jim) Russell, Tina (Dave) Myers; his three sons: Johnny Moore, Robert (Kristal) Moore, and William Moore; four daughters, Christina (Jason) Wheeler-Wellman, Sunie (Tim) Davis, Elizabeth (Justin) Hopkins, Allison Moore; 14 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, one sister, Betty Jane, one brother, John Moore, and grandson, Trevian Kinnel.

As Chuck was a family man above all, a memorial in his honor will be held at a later date for his close family to gather and celebrate the life of their father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
