CHARLES LEONARD PARR, JR., age 60, a resident of Olive Branch, MS,  died Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at Baptist Hospital - Desoto, in Southhaven, MS.

He was born August 12, 1953, in Wyatt Mo., to Charles L. "Buddy" Parr who survives of Bertrand and the late Betty Jo Skelton Parr. A veteran of the US Army, he had lived in Mississippi since 1995 where he had been employed as a truck driver.

On April 28, 1998, he married Alicia St. John who survives of the home.

Also surviving are three daughters, Rachel Dorothy Parr of the home, Jamie Dawn Parr of Sikeston, and Ashley Taylor of Sarah, MS; one brother Mike "Dobie" Parr of Hernando, MS, one sister, Gracia Parr of Bertrand; also two grandchildren.

One brother, Kevin Parr, preceded him in death.

Visitation will held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 4, 2014, in the McMikle Funeral Home where funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m.  Rev. Mike McKinney, pastor of the Southside Baptist Church in Charleston, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home.
