Charlotte Ann Gilmore, age 82, of rural Bertrand, MO, died Friday, September 12, 2025, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, MO.

Charlotte was born October 7, 1942, in Mississippi County, MO, to the late Gilbert M. Gilmore and Lucy Agnes Brown Gilmore.  Having lived in Mississippi County most of her life, she was a graduate of Anniston High School and had been employed as a secretary at Noranda Aluminum. She was also employed with Walmart and the U.S. Postal Service at various times throughout her life.  She was of Catholic faith. Charlotte was a champion for animals in need. She was always ready to rescue a stray dog and would go to any length to make sure they were cared for and placed in a good home.

Surviving is her brother, Rod (Kathy) Gilmore of Mountain Home, AR; a special nephew, Derek (Sarah) Gilmore of Leawood, KS and her great nephews, Logan and Brady and great niece, Reese; as well as several cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant brother, Donald Gilmore.

The family will have a private service.
