Cheryl D. Sullivan, age 79, of Bertrand, MO, died Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at Charleston, Missouri.

Cheryl was born November 23, 1944, at Chicago Heights, IL, to the late Charles E. Johnston and Lois M. Blanton Johnston.  Cheryl grew up in the Chicagoland Suburbs and had worked at St. James Hospital before moving to Connecticut in 1986.  She then became employed with Stop & Shop companies working in their bake shop and then went to work for BJ's wholesale before retiring and moving back to Illinois to live with her sisters, Tomi and Trudy.  Cheryl remained there until moving to Bertrand, MO to live with her sister, Geri.

She was first married to Clinton Compton in June 1973 who preceded her in death, July 1982.  In 1983, she married Tom Sullivan who preceded her in death in October 1993.

Surviving are her sons, Charles (Marie) Compton and Eric Sullivan; her brothers and sisters, Patricia McCaffrey, Terry Johnston, Evvi Hall, Joel Johnston, Julie Searight, Janice Johnston, Tomi Miller and Geri Acuff; two grandchildren, Hunter Compton and Christian Sullivan; also, a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Trudy Kilheeney

The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
