Obituary
Cheryl Ann Tinsley, 52, died at her home in Sikeston, Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012.
She was born Aug. 22, 1960 in Sikeston to the late William S. "Sonny" and Barbara Ann (Hazel) Dock.
A life-long resident of Sikeston, she had been employed at Todd Uniform and later at Missouri Delta Medical Center and had attended Illinois Avenue General Baptist Church.
On June 1, 1977 she was united in marriage to John Ellis Tinsley, Sr. in Sikeston and he preceded her in death Nov. 4, 2005.
She is survived by 2 sons, John W. Tinsley, Jr. and Michael S. Tinsley both of Sikeston; 1 brother, Robert (Joy) Dock of Eldon, MO; 2 sisters, Cindy (Ted) Leonard of Sikeston and Denise Northington of New Madrid. Also surviving are three grandchildren, John Michael Tinsley,, Devyon Scott Tinsley and Breanna Page Hale all of Sikeston.
Friends may call from 9:30 am until time for memorial service at 10:30 am Friday, Nov. 16, 2012 at
Illinois Avenue General Baptist Church with Rev. Johnie Sliger the pastor officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery under the direction of Blanchard Funeral Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Blanchard Funeral Chapel.
