Chris Hedge

David Christopher Hedge, age 39, died Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at his home in Charleston.

He was born October 17. 1982, at Sikeston, MO, to David Curtis Hedge and Kimberly Webb Smith who survive.  He had lived in Wyatt most of his life and had been employed with CTS Trailer until ill health forced his retirement.  He had served in the U.S. Army.

Surviving in addition to his parents is his life partner, Shannon Burcks and their children, David Skyler Jackson Hedge and Teryn Novaleigh Hedge; his brothers and sisters, Daryl Riley, II, Nick Riley, James Riley, Cashmere Riley and Thomas Riley; also, his grandmother, Barbara Payne Webb, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harry Webb and Curtis and Bertha Vinson Hedge.

Family and friends may assemble from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral hour at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 20, 2022, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.  Gary Graham will officiate.

Private interment will follow.
