Clara Pearl Freeman, 92, died Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. She was born March 15, 1923 in East Sylamore, Arkansas to the late John and Margaret (Jones) Wrinkle. She was a longtime resident of Sikeston and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. On Oct. 25, 1941 she married Charles Lee Freeman at Portageville and he preceded her in death July 23, 1984. Also preceding in death were 1 granddaughter, Lori Ditto, 1 son-in-law, Dan S. Norton and 6 brothers and 2 sisters. Survivors include 1 son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Sharon Freeman of Poplar Bluff; 2 daughters and 1 son-in-law, Linda Norton and Charline and Tim Chambers all of Sikeston; 1 sister, Bonnie Underwood of Batesville, Ark.; 6 grandchildren, Carrie (Jeff) Young, Jefferson City, Leslie Freeman, Sikeston; Zach (Katy) Chambers, Shreveport, LA, Alex (Steve) Stowe, Jackson, and David Norton and Tyson Chambers of Sikeston; 5 step-grandchildren, Kipper Norton, Columbia, IL, Nancy Norton, Kansas City, Dan (Marsha) Norton, Sikeston, Cindy (Clarence) Newell, St.. Louis and Michele (Rick) Bascom of Poplar Bluff. Eighteen great-grandchildren and two sisters-in-law, Hazel Solis of Kennett and Lavita Laudermilk of Sweetwater, TN also survive. Visitation will be at Blanchard Funeral Chapel from 11 am Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2015 until time for services at 1:00 pm. Pastor Billy Davis will officiate and burial will follow at Garden of Memories under the direction of Blanchard Funeral Chapel. Active pallbearers will be Tim Chambers, Zach Chambers, David Norton, Steve Stowe, Kipper Norton and Dan F. Norton. Honorary pallbearers will be Tyson Chambers, Joe Godwin and Jim Harrell.
