Clarence Lee Jones, age 69, formerly of Bertrand, MO, died Monday, December 29, 2025, at his home in St. Peters, MO.

Clarence Jones was born February 13, 1956, to the late William Harrison Jones and Dorothy Laverne Wallace Jones.  He had lived in Mississippi county most of his life, most recently living in the St. Louis, MO area to be near his daughter.

On June 19, 1976, he married Mary Leanne Gier, who preceded him in death June 9, 2004.

Among survivors are his daughter, Dena Jones, of St. Peters, MO and his brothers-in-law, Larry Gier and Ronald McKenzie, Sr.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jim Jones, Robert Jones and Tom Jones; his sisters, Ona Louise Jones, Rita Jones and Virginia McKenzie as well as his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lawrence Jewell Gier and Loretta Carr Gier, brother-in-law, Dan Gier, and sister-in-law, Maureen Gier Johnson.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 12:00 p.m., (noon) Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.

Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
