CLARK AUBURN QUERTERMOUS, age 56, died Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at his residence in Bertrand.
He was born July 24, 1961 in Sikeston to Dennis Ray and Jo Ann Lepchenske Quertermous Sr. who survive in Bertrand. A lifelong resident of Bertrand, he was a 1979 graduate of Charleston High School where he received special recognition for his leadership and athletic ability in football and baseball. His life centered around music and his performance as lead singer in the bands' "Strutter" and currently "Rellik". He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Bertrand and an avid Cardinal Baseball fan.
On June 27, 2003 he married Jane Ellen Williams who preceded him in death December 20, 2010.
Surviving in addition to his parents are two brothers, Dennis Ray Quertermous Jr. of Jackson, MS, and Keith Quertermous of Bertrand; one nephew, Dennis Ray Quertermous III of Jackson, MS, and many cousins.
Graveside Services will be conducted at 10:00 am. on Friday, May 4, 2018, at the Oak Grove Cemetery. Rev. Lois McRill, pastor of the United Methodist Church in Bertrand, will officiate.
Interment will follow under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home.
