CLETUS "FROG" BIRDELL JAMES, age 82, died Saturday, August 27, 2022 at his home in Morley.
Born August 25, 1940 in Parma to C.J. and Lillie Russom James, he was a 59 Year member of the IBEW Local One, a farmer, and will be remembered always as "The Lawn Mower Man".
Survivors include a loving friend, Nancy V. Taylor; one son, Ronald G. James; two daughters, Bonnie L. Reeves and Tonya D. Woolsey; one sister, Bonneese Bracey; one brother, Bill (JoAnn) James; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers, Pete James, Joe James, O.J. James, J.C. "Sonny" James, A.C. James, and Jackie James; and four sisters Novell Milani, Blondell Battaglia, Maydell Thompson, and Dottie Parks.
Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until the funeral hour at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston. Pastor Frank Worthington, of Sikeston will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston.
Pallbearers will be Bill James Sr., Billie James, Jr., A.C. James, Jr., Carson James, Terry Woolsey, and John Hilton.
