Cordelia Ann Rock Conn, 91, died on Friday, November 15, 2019, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri.
Born September 5, 1928, in Cairo, Illinois to the late Robert Otto and Lottie Bright Rock, she lived most of her life in Wyatt before moving to Charleston. She graduated from St. Joseph's Catholic High School in Cairo and was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church in Charleston, and former member of the Daughters of Isabella, Wyatt's Sew and Chatter Club, St. Henry's Quilters Guild, and Charleston Merchants Association.
On May 31, 1948, she married David E. Conn, Jr. who preceded her in death on October 14, 1995.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her sister Charlotte Rock Foster, and three brothers Paul F. Rock, Robert O. Rock, Jr., and John William Rock.
Surviving are her seven children: Francine (Philip Halter); James (Debra) Conn; Theresa Renaud; Margaret Ann (Melvin Mhoon); Richard (Karen) Conn; Carol Jane (Stephen Burke); and Patrick Conn of the home. Grandchildren survivors include Francesca (Chad Hahn); Kimberly (Jason Riseling); Virginia (Stephen DeBeer); Lindsay Burke; Madeline Burke, Caroline Burke; Brian Renaud; Chanoia Marshall; Alfred Herbert (Lauren) Marshall IV; Joshua (Desiree) Marshall; and L. J. Scott-Mhoon. Great-Grandchildren survivors include Nathan and Reed Hahn; Mason Renaud; Mollie Jane Delay; Emersyn, Mosely, and Macsden Marshall; Broughton Chamberland-Scott; Abigail Marshall; and Alfred Herbert Marshall V. Step-Grandchildren include Scott (Amy) Dugan; Sarah (John) Nothdurft; and Carrie Riseling. Great-Step Grandchildren include Connor (Dustin) Bryars; Gavin and Abigail Dugan; Taylor Rae and Lee Daniel Nothdurft. Great-Great Step Grandchildren include Camden Lee and Kaislee Grae Bryars.
Also surviving are nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m., Monday, November 18, 2019, at St. Henry Catholic Church in Charleston where the funeral mass will follow at 11:00 a.m.Father David Dohogne will serve has celebrant.
Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery west of Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Philip Halter, Stephen Burke, Melvin Mhoon, Michael O'Rourke, Mark Dugan and Jack Moxley.
