CRAIG CANGE

William Craig Cange, II, age 59, died Friday, September 16, 2022, at his home in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Craig was born July 20, 1963, in Forrest City, AR, to William C. Cange and the late Evelyn Nell Small Cange. Craig graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work. He then spent 20 years in the field. Devoting his work to the Greater Little Rock community.  Craig had worked with Birch Tree Communities, Inc. in Benton, AR.

Craig adored animals, especially his beloved dog, Edie. In his down time, he was an avid reader and enjoyed learning about American History.

Craig is preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Small Cange; his paternal grandparents, Robert and Eulaine Brey Cange of Cairo, IL, and his maternal grandparents, J.B. and Ethel Daniel Small of Wyatt, MO.

He is survived by his parents, William C. (Leslie) Cange of Drasco, AR; his brothers and sisters, Janelle Cange (John) Machen of Kingsport, TN; Jacob (Rochelle) Williams of Jonesboro, AR; King (Stacy) Williams of Asheville, NC and Jennibette (Jonathan) Baker of Fayetteville, AR; nieces and nephews, Meredith (Steven) Yates of Nashville, TN; Morgan (Gabe) Garfield of  Kingsport, TN; John Mallory Machen of Atlanta, GA; Anna Williams and Caroline Williams of Asheville, NC, Spencer Davis of Charlotte, NC, and William Baker and Mahlon Baker of Fayetteville, AR. Craig was loved by his great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and number of cousins.

Graveside  services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 23, 2022, at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Charleston, MO, where Craig will be laid to rest with his mother.    Father David Dohogne, pastor of St. Henry Catholic Church in Charleston, will officiate.

McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston, MO, is handling arrangements.
