Cricket Kinder

Carolyn Sue "Cricket" Kinder, 61, died at her home in Morehouse, Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2018.  She was born, February 27, 1957 in Scott County to the late Marion L. and Lola M. (Marchbanks) Butrum.  She had been a self-employed housecleaner including several years at Kirby's Sandwich Shop, and she was a member of First Baptist Church of Morehouse.    In 2004 she married Floyd "Dean" Kinder and he survives of the home.   Also surviving are 3 brothers:   Marvin L. Butrum and Commodore "Corky" Butrum both of Sikeston and Gary L. Butrum of Leopold;  3 sisters:  Christine Averitt of Wapapello, Kathleen Young of Strafford and Kay Renn of Cape Girardeau.  Several nieces,, nephews, cousins and other relatives also survive.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 3 brothers.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Morehouse with Rev. Scott Sutton, pastor of New Life Ministries in New Madrid officiating.  A family dinner will be held and then visitation will be at the church from 1:00 pm until service time at 2:00 pm.
