Damon Stephens, age 55, of Sikeston, died Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at the Aspire Senior Living Center in East Prairie, Mo.

Born November 11, 1966, at St. Louis, MO, to James Stephens and the late Bonnie Wally. Damon always desired to be a preacher, he went to college in Pennsylvania for it. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Damon loved to sing, he had a beautiful voice and even made a CD. He was such a sweet person who was always promoted positivity. Damon was strong, he always kept his faith.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his siblings, Tallhenia Ward of Dexter, MO; James (Lisa) Stephens of Sikeston, MO and Tom (Sandra) Stephens of Alabama; his nieces and nephews, Tommy, Ashlee, Jesse, Billy, Darrian, Kaitlyn, Jaden, Kole, Kaylee, Chandler and Emma.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until time for the memorial services at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston. Jeannie Williams will officiate.
