It is with deep sorrow that we announce that Danny Lynn Rockett, of League City, TX and formerly of Charleston, MO, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025, in Friendswood, Texas, at the age 77, after a beautifully lived life.

He was born on December 15, 1947, in Cario, Illinois to Louis L. Rockett, Sr. and Maxine Elizabeth Allen Rockett Laster.  He was a longtime associate of State Farm Insurance.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Stephanie Lynn Rockett; his mother, Maxine Elizabeth Laster; his father, Louis L. Rockett Jr.; brother, Jan Allen Rockett and stepfather, Albert "Doc" Laster.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 58 years, Linda Marie Hodges Rockett; son, Timothy Rockett, and grandchildren Cavan and his wife Morgan of League City, TX and Rylen Rockett of Galveston; brother, Michael Louis Rockett of Charleston, Missouri.

Family and friends may assemble for graveside services at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Charleston, MO.

Interment will follow under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
