Daniel Barrozo, age 68, died Saturday, July 24, 2021 at his residence in Sikeston.

On February 14, 1980 he married Deborah Evans who survives of the home in Sikeston. He was born January 18, 1953 in Reedley, CA to Mike and DeLores Yabarra Barrozo.  Daniel was a 1972 graduate of Selma High School in Selma, CA. Following graduation, he enlisted in the US Army and was stationed in Bromholder, Germany, then at Ft. Bliss in Texas. After completing 4 years of service with the Army, he enlisted in the US Air Force and served 8 years stationed at Vandenberg AF Base in CA.  After his discharge he moved to Sikeston to help care for his wife's parents and was employed with MO Delta Medical Center for 25 years until retirement.  He professed to be a Catholic Christian.

In addition to his wife he is survived by one daughter, Shannon Barrozo (Derek Reminger) of Chaffee and one son, Ryan (Kasi) Barrozo of Fruitland; three grandchildren Jason Vandiver, Liam Moore, Max Barrozo  two sisters, Ester Baca of Selma, CA and Lydia Barrozo of Fowler, CA; and a large, loving extended family.His parents, two sisters and one brother preceded him in death.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the service at 11:00 am on Monday, August 2, 2021 at McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston. Dennis Lee McKown of Montgomery, AL will officiate.

Interment will follow in the MO Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield, under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston.
