Danny Joe Stinnett

Danny Joe Stinnett, age 55, formerly of Charleston, MO, died Saturday, November 22, 2025, at his home in Sikeston, MO, following an extended illness.

Born February 11, 1970, at Sikeston, MO, Evelyn "Janie" Stinnett, he was a graduate of Charleston High School and lived in Mississippi County most of his life.  The past several years he had lived in Sikeston.   He was a U.S. Army Veteran.

Surviving is his mother and stepfather, Janie and Paul Aters; his brother, Adam Jay (Heather) Bowles and his sister, Heather (Don) Massie; his nieces and nephew, Shelby, Savannah and Clayton, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Jay Bowles; his maternal grandparents, Ernest Burton Stinnett and Nettie Cleone Lynch Stinnett.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday, November 24, 2025, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.

Committal Services with full military honors will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield, MO.
