David Timothy Demeree, age 58, died Saturday, August 10, 2024, at his home in Chaffee, Missouri.

He was born April 29, 1966, at Binghampton, NY, to the late Kenneth Demeree, Sr. and Wilma C. Deming Demeree.   He lived in New York State in his younger years.  A U.S. Army Veteran, David's military career took him throughout the United States.  He later settled at Bonne Terre, MO, where he would serve as a military recruiter and worked as a clerk with the U.S. Postal Service at the Bonne Terre Post Office.  Later David transferred to the U.S. Post Office mail processing center in Cape Girardeau and worked there before assuming a position with the V.A. Health Care Center in Cape Girardeau.

David loved outdoors and had visited four of the United States National Parks in his quest to see all 63.

Surviving is his brother, Kenneth "Bucky" (Paula) Demeree, Jr., of Spencer, NY; his sister, Karen (Tom) Sargent of Ithaca, NY; his stepsister, Nancy Harrington of Florida; his stepbrother, Timothy (Kathleen) Harrington of Smithville Flats, NY; Also, his very special friends, Vernon and Mary Davidson of Jackson, MO; as well as a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Arrangements are being made for interment with full military honors at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO.
