Debbie Allen

Debra A. Hicks Allen, age 68, of Sikeston, died Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Mercy-Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born August 22, 1955, at Sikeston, to the late Edward Owen "Eddie" Hicks and Claudette Learue, she had lived in Sikeston her entire life and had been employed with MJ Jewelers for over 23 years.

In 1980, she married Randy Scott Allen, who survives of the home.

Also surviving is her son, Jason Michael (Tammy) Allen of Sikeston; grandchildren, Carson (Jacey) Allen, Kara Allen, Christopher (Tomie) Smith, Brittany Smith, Chelsea Mae (Kaleb) Gifford; 10 great grandchildren and one much anticipated great granddaughter on the way; her brothers, Randy Hicks, Steven (Patricia) Hicks and Artie (Tracy) Hicks; her sisters, Sondra (Terry) Alliston and Darlene Hicks; a number of nieces and nephews; also, her lifelong best friend, Beth Lowe.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Shannon Learue and her stepfather, James Learue.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 16, 2024, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston.  Jon Archie will officiate.

Private interment will be held at the Forest Hill Memorial Cemetery near Morley.
