Debbie Russell

Deborah Kay “Debbie” Robinson Russell, age 73, of Sikeston died Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Born March 8, 1953, at Harlingen, Texas, daughter of the late George Milton Robinson and Ruth Jeanette Chambers Robinson, she was a 1971 graduate of Sikeston High School. Debbie had lived in Sikeston most of her life and attended Tanner Street Church of God. For a number of years, she was employed at the Standard Democrat and with Sterling Health Care in Sikeston until her retirement.

Survivors include: her daughter, Dana (Tim) Sanders; and her son, Mark Russell, all of Sikeston; her grandchildren, Seth Copeland (Carlee Beene) and Baylee Copeland.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Robinson, and her sister, Dianne Robinson Bone.

A private graveside service is being planned for a future date at Dogwood Cemetery.

McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
