Debra Kay McCann, 51, died at her home in Oran Friday September 26, 2014. She was born Sept. 19, 1963 in Sikeston to William A "Bill" and Gracie M. (Tolbert) McCann who survive of the home.
She was a 1981 graduate of Sikeston High School and attended 2 years of college; she was a member of the Assembly of God Church and had worked as a switchboard operator at Missouri Delta Medical Center, as a clerk at the Sikeston Public Library and as a driver for Scott County Transit.
In addition to her parents she is survived by 1 uncle John (Sandy) Tolbert of Advance; 3 aunts, Jean Tolbert-Stayton and Ann Tolbert of Morley and Liz (Howard) Banks of Sikeston and a host of other relatives and friends. 1 uncle, Paul Tolbert preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 12 noon until time for services at 2:00 pm Wednesday, Oct. 1, in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel. Her uncle Rev. John Tolbert, pastor of Calvary Cornerstone in Advance will officiate and burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kathy Motton, Danny Tolbert, David Yant, John Nettler and David Evans.
