Obituary

Hiram Dewitt "Dee" Lambert Jr., was born February 25, 1954 in Sikeston MO to Hiram Dewitt, Sr. and Peggy Marshall Lambert, and died Saturday, December 5, 2020, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

On August 28, 2002, Dee married Cindy Robeson in Benton, MO.

Dee is survived by his wife of Benton, two daughters, Tara (Lance) Lafont of Oxford, MS and Sara (Juan) Bravo of Temecula, CA. four grandchildren, Brie Lafont, Wesley Clair Lafont, Aiden Bravo and Myles Bravo. two stepsons, Jonathan (Barbi) Cooper of Benton, MO. Christopher (Allie) Cooper of Kelso, MO. Three step grandchildren, Ethan Despain, Dean Cooper, Jack Cooper. Brother, Tim (Claudia) Lambert of Gainesville, FL and two nieces, Brooke (Phil) Steuer of Virginia Beach, VA and Emily (Jeff) Gill of Gainesville, FL.

Dee owned and operated Lambert Construction before his retirement. He built the 3 rd Lamberts Café in Sikeston and with Scott Lambert came up with the idea for the yellow feet you see in all of the restaurants so when you follow the yellow "feet" road, think of him. He loved hunting, horses, John Wayne movies and The Eagles. Dee was very fortunate to have good, life-long friends and enjoyed telling stories of their many adventures. At this time there will not be a service out of concern due to COVID. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

McMIkle Funeral Home of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
