Obituary
Delores Crelia Bowles, 88, of Liberty, Missouri, passed away March 17, 2011 at Liberty, Mo.
She was born in Randles, Missouri to the late John Richard and Rose Chappell Sellers. She was formerly from Bertrand, Missouri. She was a mother and a homemaker for her family. She attended the Baptist Church and enjoyed her flower garden. She grew splendid roses.
Delores was preceded in death by her husband, R.V. Bowles, and an infant son, Ronald Vernon Bowles.
Survivors include her sons: Les (Beverly) Bowles of Lathrop, Missouri; Tillman (Mary) Bowles of Gallatin, Missouri; Roger (Sandee) Bowles of Liberty, Missouri; and Victor Bowles (Sabine Fettig) of Excelsior Springs, Missouri. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 19 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Lester Sellers, Richard Sellers, Dave Sellers and George Sellers and by one sister, Lecy Henrick.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at the McMikle Funeral Home In Charleston. Rev. Ted Wimberley, pastor of the New Bethel Baptist Church of Charleston, will officiate.
Interment will follow in the IOOF Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.
