Donna "Denise" Stone, 54, a lifelong resident of this area, died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018 at the Miner Nursing Center.  She was born September 27, 1963 in Henderson, Tennessee to Betty (Taylor) Stone who survives of Sikeston and the late Wendell P. Stone.  Denise had attended First Assembly of God Church as a child and had been a packer at Gold Bond Ice Cream.  In addition to her mother, she is survived by 1 son, Christopher Stone of the home; 1 sister, Bonnie (Greg) Foote of Sikeston; 2 brothers, Wendell P. Stone and Thomas B. Stone both of Sikeston and by her paternal grandmother, Alice Stephenson of California, MO.   A celebration of her life service will be held  at 5:00 pm Thursday, Aug. 16 at Second Half Ministries at 110 County Line Road in Sikeston with Bart Smith, the pastor officiating.  Blanchard Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements and  online condolences may be shared with the family at blanchardfuneral.com.
