DENNETTE MARIE PIRTLE MILLS, age 55, a resident of Sikeston, died Monday, February 7, 2022, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born July 31, 1966, in St. Louis, MO, to the late Annette Cipponeri, she grew up in a strong Italian family in St. Louis and lost her father Fred in a fire when she was young.  Dennette moved to Sikeston a number of years ago and had been employed with Fas Gas.  Dennette loved people and was always willing to lend a helping hand.   She especially loved her fur baby, her beloved dog Marley Kai Mills, who survives of the home.

She is survived by her twin sons, Ryan David (Samantha) Mills of Wyatt and Derek Michael Mills of St. Louis; her daughters, Destiny Jo Ann-Marie Drury and Deonna Elizabeth Drury of Sikeston; her grandson, Graham Cavasos; and her brother, David Pirtle of St. Louis and well as a number of cousins and many friends.

In addition to her father and mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Drury; her son, Nicholas Richard Mills and brother, Michael Waller.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston.

Committal services will be private at Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
