Dennis Lee Morgan, age 77, formerly of Charleston, died Friday, March 21, 2025, at his home in Florissant, MO.

Born June 30, 1947, to the late Edward DeLene Morgan and Lula Mae Hanes Morgan, he grew up in Charleston and was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in Vietnam.

Dennis was always a character his entire life.  He was known by his nickname Psych-a-Dale or just plain "psych." He was a military pool shooting champ of Europe when he was stationed in Germany.  He did construction most of his life as in iron worker. Dennis had no fear of height and would dance the iron beams or "skated" on the beams.  Dennis was a lifelong poker player and was a regular at Ameristar Casino and was always treated special by the staff in the poker room.  Some of the workers had know him for over 40 years.

Among those surviving is his brother, Charles David Morgan of Florissant; his sisters, Diane (Roger) Cain of Charleston and Debbie (Larry) McCurter of East Prairie; also, his kids, Bryan of Kentucky, Kevin of Columbia, MO, Wendy of East Prairie and Angel of Lake Wappapello; also, a number of nieces and nephews and their families as well as cousins.

In addition to his father and mother, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Edward DeLene "Dee" Morgan, Jr., Danny Gene Morgan and Sammy Dale Morgan. Dennis also lost one child at six weeks old, Little Johnny.

Family and friends may gather for visitation at from noon until 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 27, 2025, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.

Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 27, 2025, at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield, Missouri.

Interment will follow under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
