Derek Eugene Whitney,48 (Truck, Pretty Ricky) was born August 24,1976  in Sikeston, Mo and and passed away December 17, 2024 at his home in Charleston.

He was a graduate of Charleston High School in 1995 and after high school he joined the US Navy.

Derek loved cooking and watching sports and being around family. His favorite holiday was Christmas and he enjoyed riding around seeing lights around the neighborhood . It brought him so much joy.

His family includes his mother, Ida, and Ronnie (Charleston, Mo) dad Jimmy Jackson (deceased) and one son D'erek Whitney (St.Louis, Mo), five Sisters.  Taffie Whitney (Louisville, Ky). Missy  Brady(Sikeston,Mo) and Tricey Jackson of (Aurora,IL)  Joanne Jackson(Aurora,IL) Cookie Jackson (Aurora,IL) and 4 brothers Rommie Whitney (Charleston,Mo) Jimmie  Jackson (Aurora IL) B.J.
