Devin Lamar Alexander, 17, died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 20`5 at Missouri Delta Medical Center at Sikeston. He was born Oct. 21, 1998 at Kennett to Peggy Joyce (Wooden) Alexander who survives of Sikeston. A former resident of Caruthersville he had lived in Sikeston most of his life and was a Junior at Sikeston Schools. He was also a member of T.Y.B. and had attended church at St. James Word of Faith Outreach Ministries at Hayti. In addition to his mother, Peggy, he is survived by two fathers, Rodney Webb of Sikeston and Donald Bowers of Little Rock; 4 sisters: Xavia Alexander of the home, Perriah Alexander of Caruthersville, Damisha Alexander of Sikeston and Destoni Austin; 5 brothers: Damon Alexander of the home, Darius Austin, William Ray Austin, Jr., Christopher Austin and Zakerious Richards. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Louberta Wooden of Caruthersville and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 pm, Monday, Jan. 4 at Blanchard Funeral Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 11:oo am Tuesday, Jan. 5 at First United Methodist Church in Sikeston with Dr. Johnny Hood and Bishop David Wooden officiating. Burial follow at the Morgan Ridge Cemetery at Caruthersville. Active pallbearers will be Victwon Riley, Delonio Porter, Javonte Daniel, Deterio Newman, Antonio Johnson and Abdu McCauley. Honorary pallbearewrs will be Damon Alexander, Robert Bogan, Jamarius Robinson and Jaquan Treadwell. Repast will be at Divine Holiness Outreach Ministries at 1109 E. 18th St. in Caruthersville.
