DIANNE ROBINSON BONE, age 76, died Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at her home in Charleston.
She was born December 2, 1942, at Lilbourn, MO, to the late George Milton Robinson and Ruth Jeanette Chambers Robinson. A graduate of Lilbourn High School, she first went to work as a secretary for Ramsey Equipment Company. In 1968, she became employed with Security National Bank in Sikeston and later Kizer Engineering Company and Missouri Delta Medical Center. In 1975, she took a position in the optometry office of Dr. Leo Bruce where she worked for over 20 years until her retirement. She was a member of the Hunter Memorial Presbyterian Church in Sikeston.
On January 17, 1987, she married Wilbur Dean "Pete" Bone, who survives of the home.
Also surviving is her sister, Deborah Kay Sparks of Sikeston; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Lynn Robinson.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m., Monday, May 13, 2019, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
Graveside services will follow at 11:00 a.m., at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Charleston with the Rev. Tom Bass, officiating.
Interment will follow under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be her nephews, Jeff Robinson, Mark Russell, Paul Wathen, John Wathen, Josh Thompson and Seth Copeland.
