Donald Ray Burnett, age 58, a resident of Sikeston, died Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at his home in Sikeston.

He was born February 10, 1964, at Chaffee, MO, to Bruster Copeland and Betty Sue Burnett Copeland and had lived in Scott County most of his life. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. For 18 years he has served as a minister.

On July 15, 2006, he married Nancy Joy Snyrponis, who survives of the home.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his children, Joshua Noyes, Sarah Burnett, Dallas Burnett, Joshua Smith, Kandace Goering and Alexis Smith; eleven grandchildren and a number of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston.  Joe Stevens will officiate.

Interment with military honors will follow at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
