DONALD WAYNE "Doc Evans" FAUGHT, Age 75, died Friday, May 31, 2013 at his home near Sikeston.
Born November 12, 1937, at Charleston, MO, to the late J.L. Faught and Lois Evans Faught Reeves, he had lived in Sikeston area most of his life and was employed with Malone and Hyde until his retirement. A member of the Unity Baptist Church near Benton, he was a veteran of the U.S. Marines.
On November 27, 1961, he married Lois Harris, who survives of the home near Sikeston.
Also surviving are: two sons, Donald (Jeana) Faught of Blodgett and James Faught of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Theresa (John) Canady of Benton, Kim (Nick) Fincher of Sikeston and Donna (Kent) Tarpenning of Texas; one brother, Billy (Carol) Walters of Dutchtown; three sisters, Gala (Mick) Leaman of Johnson City, MO; Janice (Jim) Johnson of Florida and Sue Buskil of Owensboro, KY; one uncle, Shelby Evans of Hartford, IL; one aunt, Peggy Rockett of Sikeston; 8 grandchildren, Meagan, Matthew, Dustin, Hannah, Zachary, Jerica, Tara and Carsyn; three great grandchildren, Kimberley Patterson, Jordyn Dunn and Alex Dunn; also a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 3, 2013 at the Unity Baptist Church near Benton. Rev. Dennis Lowe, pastor, will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Unity Cemetery under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
Full military honors will be provided by the U.S. Marines and the Missouri Military Honors Program.
Pallbearers will be: John Canady, Matthew Canady, Nick Fincher, Kyle Branum, Dustin Faught and Zachary Faught.
