DONALD EUGENE "DUCK" PATTERSON, age 51, formerly of Charleston, died Friday, February 1, 2013 at his residence in Sikeston.
Born May 31, 1961 in Charleston, he had lived in Southeast Missouri most of his life and had been self- employed in construction as a painter.
He married Donna Husketh who survives.
Also surviving is one daughter, Victoria Nicole Husketh of Bertrand; six brothers, Stanley (Sarah) Dorris and Carey Franklin Holmes both of East Prairie, Kenneth (Shelly) Patterson of Jacksonville, FL, Jesse (Connie) Alexander of Charleston, Eddie Holmes Jr., and James Lee Holmes both of Denver, CO; two sisters, Donna Jean Patterson of Mexia, TX and Melissa Michelle (Matthew) Bradley of East Prairie; one granddaughter, Gabriella Jade Patterson Husketh of Bertrand.
He was preceded in death by one infant sister, his maternal grandparents, James and Rose Dorris, and his paternal grandparents, Charlie and Mattie Washer.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston where funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Wednesday, February 6, 2013. Rev. Winston Williford of Jackson will officiate.
Interment will follow in the IOOF Cemetery under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Stanley Dorris, Kenny Patterson, Jesse Alexander, James Holmes, Matthew Bradley, and Frankie Holmes.
