Donald Wayne Pearson, age 60, formerly of Sikeston, died Sunday, September 26, 2021, at his home at Wappapello.
He was born June 6, 1961 in Sikeston to Carl D. and Lorene McCann Pearson. A graduate of Sikeston High School, Don had worked as a driver for Turner Dairy, a route driver for Burch Foods, and then was a machine operator at Briggs Stratton in Poplar Bluff until ill health forced his retirement in 2018.
He is survived by one son, Marcus Pearson of Springfield; one sister, Kathy (Jerry) Motton of Sikeston; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, one son, Donald Pearson Jr., preceded him in death.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at a later date.
Services under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston.
Memorial Contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
