Donna Gail Franklin Ashworth, Age 55, a resident of Wyatt, MO; died Thursday, August 06, 2009 at Wyatt.

She was born July 31, 1954 at Cairo, IL to Wanda Faye Pierce Franklin who survives of Wyatt and the late William Lafayette "Bill" Franklin. She had lived in Wyatt most of her life where she was a member of the New Covenant Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis with a degree in computer programming. Donna loved helping others and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

On July 2, 1982, she married Donald "Duck" Ashworth who survives of the home in Wyatt.

Surviving besides her husband and mother are: two sisters and brothers in law, Wilma and Kenneth Sadler of Sikeston, MO and Brandi and Michael Dowdy of Wickliffe, KY; one granddaughter, Destiny Sheyenne Kerner of Benton, MO; one neice, Adrianne Denise Pickett of Cairo, IL; one nephew, William Blaine Dowdy of Wickliffe, KY; also a number of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by one brother, William Lafayette Franklin, Jr. on October 24, 1974.

Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, August 9, 2009 at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, MO where funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 10, 2009. Rev. Kenneth Gibson of Wyatt, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be: David Stephens, Burl Pickett, Cody Pullen, Nathan Pullen, David Franklin and Michael Franklin.
