DONNA LEE HALSTEAD, 71, of Charleston, died Thursday, January 10, 2019, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born May 3, 1947, at the family home in Charleston, MO, to the late William H. "Bill" Brantley and Thelma Irene Butler Brantley, she was a graduate of Charleston High School and a member of the St. Henry Catholic Church in Charleston. Always conscious about fashion and style, Donna worked in the cosmetology and apparel business eventually opening her own store in East Prairie known as D's Boutique.

On April 25, 1966, she married William Cullen Bryant, III, who preceded her in death on January 12, 1993. On February 12, 1994, she married Thomas Craig Halstead, Sr., who survives of the home.

Also surviving are her children, Cully (Julie) Bryant of Sikeston, Jason (Elizabeth) Bryant of East Prairie and Tommy (Alison) Halstead of Portageville; her grandchildren, Tanner Bryant, Harper Bryant, Beau Bryant, Clay Bryant, McKenna Bryant, William Brantley Bryant, Alice Katherine Halstead and Shelby Grace Halstead.

There is no public visitation.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at the St. Henry Catholic Church in Charleston with Father David Dohogne as celebrant.

Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be: Cully Bryant, Jason Bryant, Tommy Halstead, Tanner Bryant, Beau Bryant and Clay Bryant.
