DONNA JEAN VINSON JONES, Age 64, died Wednesday, September 11, 2019, at her home in Charleston.

She was born November 25, 1954, at Charleston, MO, to the late George Calvin Vinson and Rita Elizabeth Sisk Vinson, she attended nursing school and lived in Georgia a number of years working as a nurse. She returned to Charleston to be near her family and was a member of the Wyatt Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda Kay Teague of Wyatt and Teresa Danielle Carr of Charleston; three brothers, Jerry Dale Vinson of East Prairie; Jesse Vinson of Charleston and Tony Keith Vinson of Sikeston; also, seven grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two children, Steven Ray Jones and Jennifer Michelle Jones; three brothers, James Calvin Vinson, Larry Joe Vinson and Lawrence Edward Vinson and by four sisters, Wanda Bone, Elizabeth Ann Hale, Linda Carter and Bertha Hedge.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 12, 2019, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston where funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 13, 2019. Rev. Dennis Lowe, pastor of the Unity Baptist Church near Benton, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.
