Obituary
DONNIE JO DRURY, Age 37, a resident of Charleston, died Sunday, May 8, 2016, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born July 19, 1978, at Victoria, TX, to Teresa Diane Farrell Harland who survives of Sikeston and the late George Rodney Drury, he had lived in Charleston most of his life and had attended the Open Door Fellowship in Sikeston.
Surviving in addition to his mother are two daughters, Destiny Jo Drury and Deonna Elizabeth Drury of East Prairie; two brothers, Mickey Cox of St. Louis and James Cox of Charleston; his stepfather, Larry Harland of Sikeston; the mother of his children, Dennette Mills of East Prairie; his uncle, Fred Drury; his aunt, Karen Manker; also a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Ronnie Jo Drury; his paternal grandparents, Bud and Ola McDaniel Drury; his maternal grandparents, Cleve and Theda Welch Farrell; his uncle, Kenny Farrell and his aunt, Cathy Alsip Farrell.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2016 at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. A Celebration of Donnie's Life will follow from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Private Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston at a later date.
