DONALD LANE 'DONNIE' ELROD, age 67, a resident of Sikeston, died Tuesday, September 1, 2020, at Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau.

Born December 15, 1952, at Little Rock, AR, to the late Judd Wilson Elrod and Lucy Jeston Sawyers Elrod, he was employed a number of years as a diesel mechanic.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran.

Surviving of the home is Mary and his son Curtis Ray Elrod.

Also surviving are his brothers, Andrew Elrod and Bill Elrod; and sister, Connie Elrod Reese; his sister in law, Donna Elrod; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Neil Elrod; his brother in law, Robert Reese, II and his niece, Megan Elrod.

A celebration of life is scheduled for a later date.
