Dorothy Jean Lee, 80, died Monday, March 7 at Sikeston Convalescent Center. She was born December 12, 1935 at Litchfield, Illinois to Lucille (Westhoff) Griffith Uthoff who survives of Sikeston and the late Walt Griffith. A resident of this area most of her life, she was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church and had been a clerk at the Scott County Assessors Office. On Aug. 13, 1955 she was married to Harold Lee at Charleston and he preceded her in death May 1, 2002. In addition to her mother she is survived by 2 sons and 1 daughter-in-law, Steven & Sheila Lee of Sikeston and Mark Lee of Charleston; and 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at Blanchard Funeral Chapel from 11:00 am Thursday until time for services at 1:00 pm. Rev. A. J. Wollenburg, pastor of Concordia Lutheran Church will officiate and burial will follow at Unity Cemetery near Benton.
