DOROTHY LEE, age 77, died Saturday, June 10, 2023, at her home in Sikeston.

She was born June 7, 1946 in Kewanee, MO, to Clarence Alanza and Annabelle Harp Lee.  After growing up in Canalou, MO, she went on to receive a masters degree.   She was a very accomplished folk-art painter, quilter and doll maker.  She even received a patten on one of her dolls named "Little People Doll".  She was a wonderful single mother but most importantly let God lead her life, as she was a devoted Christian.

Surviving are her children; Harry Wayne Nolan of Hooks, Texas; Ronnie Neal Nolan of Sikeston, and Michael Joseph (Jennifer) Lee of Cape Girardeau, MO; one sister, Alvina Lee of Dexter, MO;  several special grandchildren,  including Elizabeth Grace Charlotte Lee, and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Waine Nolan and one brother, Joseph Lee, and one sister, Grace Lee.

Services will be private with burial at Dogwood Cemetery.
