DOROTHY VIRGINIA FORD OLIVER, age 87, of Morehouse, died Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at Clearview Nursing Center in Sikeston.

Born March 29, 1932, at Piggott, AR, to the late Jim Calvin Ford and Esther Helen Brown Ford, she had lived in Morehouse a number of years and had attended the Victory Chapel in Charleston.

On December 28, 1950, she married James Willis Oliver, who preceded her in death on December 1, 2017.

Surviving are her children, Barbara Hartwick Potashnick of Sikeston; Jimmie Dale Oliver of St. Louis, Judy Russell of Wappapello, Phyllis Carleton of Morehouse, Darlene Vance of Marmaduke, AR, David Oliver of San Antonio, TX, Carol Allen of Sikeston and her son,  Calvin Monroe Oliver; one brother, Calvin Ford and two sisters, Margaret Noll and Jo Nell Wilkerson all of Festus; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Vicki Lynn Oliver and Glenda Kaye Oliver and by one brother and two sisters.

Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.
