DOROTHY JEAN BROWN, Age 86, a resident of Paducah, KY, formerly of Wyatt, MO, died Monday, April 5, 2010 at the Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, KY.

Born December 29, 1923, at Cairo, Ill., to the late Walter and Pearl Ellen Riggens Parr, she had lived in Wyatt most of her life where she was a self employed beauty operator. She was a member of the Wyatt Baptist Church.

On October 10, 1948, she married Clyde Waymon "Billy" Brown, who preceded her in death October 9, 2007.

Surviving are: two sons and daughters in law, Larry and Martha Brown of Cunningham, KY and Todd and Cindy Brown of Benton, KY; one sister, Mildred Corey of Mitchell, IL; six grandchildren, Scott Roberts, Brett Roberts, Kip Brown, Kristi Brown, Max Brown and Jackson Brown, also 13 great grandchildren,

Preceding her in death were a step daughter, Sharon Brown Roberts and two sisters, Louise Nolen and Freda Sutherland.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Rev. Dean Wallace, pastor of the Wyatt Baptist Church, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be: Scott Roberts, Brett Roberts, Lee Sloan, Dale Sloan, Kip Brown, Kip Brown, Jr. and Beau Brown.
