DOTTIE LUE VAUGHN MILLER, Age 65, of Sikeston, died Thursday, September 15, 2016, at the home of her daughter in Diehlstadt.

Born August 31, 1951, at Linden, TN, to the late William Henry and Dollie Earlene Hensley Vaughn, she had lived in Sikeston most of her life where she was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and had been employed with Service Master a number of years. She was of Baptist Belief.

On July 25, 2000, she married David Miller, who survives of Sikeston.

Also surviving is one daughter, Tammy (David) Bowles of Diehlstadt; one stepson, David Turner of Chaffee; one brother, Henry Vaughn of Canalou; three sisters, Patty (Mike) Gray of East Prairie; Linda (Charles) Taylor and Lonna (Robert) Watkins both of Sikeston; three grandchildren, Jonathan Bowles, Monica Bowles and Zahn Turner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one infant son; three sisters, Mary Johnson, Sheila Vaughn and Elizabeth Vaughn.

Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 18, 2016, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Chad Bles, pastor of Terra Nova Church in Sikeston, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Bowles, James Watkins, Mark Messmer, Jeffery Gates, Danny Haley and Jeff Gates.
