Eddie Dean "Dink" Sanders, Sr. age 72, a resident of East Prairie, MO, died Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at his home in East Prairie.

Eddie was born February 22, 1950, in East Prairie, MO, to the late Charles Edward and Mozella Watson Sanders. He was a life-long resident of East Prairie and retired as a carpenter. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing pool. Eddie also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

On August 11, 1970, he married Vickie Myers, who survives of the home.

Also surviving are his daughter Melinda (Jason) Brown of Mt. Pleasant, TX; sons Eddie Jr (Andrea) Sanders, Joey (Heather) Sanders and Jordan (Nitisha) Sanders of East Prairie; two sisters Pam (Ronnie) Chance and Barbara (Ronald) Hammontree, and his brother, Dickie (Beth) Sanders of East Prairie. Eddie has ten grandchildren: Rowdy (Jason Sago) Phillips, Lance Sanders, Brylee Sanders, Blair Sanders, Pierce Sanders, Dylan Brown, Madelyn Johnson, Ally Johnson, and Madelyn Riggs; and one great grandchild, Mally Riggs, with a host of many relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Dean Watson and sister, Sharon Thomas.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until time for memorial services at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.  Martin Lucas of East Prairie will officiate.
