Obituary

CHARLES EDWARD 'EDDIE' McCAMERON, Age 74, a resident of Charleston, died Monday, March 24, 2014, at the Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born August 29, 1939, at Gideon, MO, to the late Samuel Arthur and Zelma Madine Hodges McCameron, he had lived in Charleston most of his life where he was employed with Duenne Farms for over 43 years and was a member of the Church of Christ.

On June 15, 1958, he married Sandra Gail Humphrey, who survives of the home. Also surviving are two sons and daughters in law, Gary and Crystal McCameron of Morehouse and Kenneth and Cindy McCameron of Charleston; two daughters and sons in law, Pam and Ray Scott of Charleston and Robin and Charles "Bub" Heppe of Charleston; one sister, Velda "Lou" Mansfield of St. Louis; 12 Grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, John Willis McCameron and Bill McCameron and by four sisters, Nola Marie "Peewee" Wright, Pauline Pfaff, Edith Battles and DaRhonda Kelly.

Visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 27, 2014 at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston where funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 28, 2014. William "Bill" Bradley and Mark Odle, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be: Ricky Humphrey, Jason Lee, Steven McCameron, James Crane, Terry Humphrey, Jeff Humphrey and Connor McCameron.
