Edith Carol "Edie" Stroud, 65, died at her home in Sikeston, Monday, August 7, 2017.  She was born Jan. 23, 1952 in Andersonville, Tennessee to the late Robert Henry and Nola Mae (Taylor) Wallace.  A cook at Sikeston Junior High School, she was a Baptist and member of the American Legion Womens' Auxiliary.  She is survived by two brothers, Ron (Terri) Wallace of Sikeston and Charles Wallace of Michigan; 1 brother-in-law, Ray Christie of Walnut Creek, California;  2 nieces, 5 nephews, 4 great-nephews and 2 great-nieces.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 3 sisters.  Memorial Graveside rites will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery at 11:00 am Saturday, Aug. 26.  Online condolences may be shared with the family at blanchardfuneral.com.
