EDITH FAYE GRAINGER, age 82, died Sunday, August 2, 2020, at her home near Sikeston.

Born January 29, 1938, at Osceola, Arkansas, to the late Arthur Edgar Ergle and Evis Savannah Horton Ergle, she had lived in the Matthews area a number of years was a loving mother and grandmother.

On December 10, 1981, she married Albert Leonard "Al" Grainger, who preceded her in death June 18, 2017.

Surviving are her children, Pam (Rick) Willis of Palmersville, TN; Richard L. Frohock of Sikeston, Tina (TJ) Gantner of Matthews, Denise Frohock of Benton and her special granddaughter, Amy M. (Dusty) Lee of Wilson, NC; her sister, Juanita Ergle of Matthews; 18 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa Jenkins and brothers and sisters, J.L., Lee, Ranso, Ed, Floster, Christine, Pauline, Ruby, Gertrude, Sharlotte and Imogene.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston.

Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston.
